  1. I've read about "Internet Tour Guide for Windows" here in this newsgroup 
  2. several times now, always with resptect to Chameleon.  Can someone please
  3. tell me a little bit more about it?  I assume it's a book and that it comes
  4. with some version of Chameleon in the back.  And it also sounds like it
  5. provides a means to attach to the Internet using a modem from home.  Is any
  6. of this incorrect?

  8. It would be great if someone could fill in the details of this.

  41. Yes, I have quite successfully been able to use unifAce and Trumpet Winsock.  
  42. The problem you seem to be getting is related to uniface not being able to 
  43. find the appropriate TCP/IP dll for the transport you are using.

  45. You problably have the following file(s) in your windows directory.

  47. idf.ini & usys.ini
  48.  
  49. In these files there is the following entry.

  51. [dlls]
  52. demandload=xxxx.dll,zzzz.dll
  53.  
  54. You need to add to an entry for unettcpX.dll to this line, or modify the entry 
  55. that is already there.   X refers to your TCP/IP transport.  If you are 
  56. using PCTCP it is unettcpf.dll, if you are using lan-work-groups then use 
  57. unettcpl.dll.
