- I've read about "Internet Tour Guide for Windows" here in this newsgroup
- several times now, always with resptect to Chameleon. Can someone please
- tell me a little bit more about it? I assume it's a book and that it comes
- with some version of Chameleon in the back. And it also sounds like it
- provides a means to attach to the Internet using a modem from home. Is any
- of this incorrect?
-
- It would be great if someone could fill in the details of this.

-
- Yes, I have quite successfully been able to use unifAce and Trumpet Winsock.
- The problem you seem to be getting is related to uniface not being able to
- find the appropriate TCP/IP dll for the transport you are using.
-
- You problably have the following file(s) in your windows directory.
-
- idf.ini & usys.ini
-
- In these files there is the following entry.
-
- [dlls]
- demandload=xxxx.dll,zzzz.dll
-
- You need to add to an entry for unettcpX.dll to this line, or modify the entry
- that is already there. X refers to your TCP/IP transport. If you are
- using PCTCP it is unettcpf.dll, if you are using lan-work-groups then use
- unettcpl.dll.
-
- I hope this helps.
